Career in Olam
Gerry joined us in 1998 primarily responsible for the worldwide cocoa business based in Singapore. He brings more than 20 years cocoa trading experience. He was Director with ED & F Man Ltd and additionally Director of their operations in Malaysia, Poland and Nigeria. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Cocoa Association of Asia. To ensure greater proximity to Cocoa customers, he moved Olam’s marketing and trading headquarters to London in 2003.

Sandeep joined Olam as a Management Trainee, confirmed as a branch Manager based in Indonesia managing our cocoa sourcing operation. In 2000 he moved to Global IT system Integration team in Singapore as Project Manager - Global IT systems. After 2 years he was posted to Olam Ivoire as Business Manager, he later moved to Moscow to start the Packaged Foods business in Russia. He is currently the Country Head of Russia responsible for both the PFB business and all the other commodities business sourced and traded in Russia.

Career in Olam
Rajesh joined us in 1998 as Finance Manager with overall responsibility for the finance and accounts function of the Cameroon operations. He was promoted in 1999 to Financial Controller and transferred to Ivory Coast to oversee the finance and accounting activities of Olam Iviore and Olam Outspan. In 2000 he moved to Nigeria as Regional Finance Controller. He moved to London in 2003 as Product Finance Controller – Cocoa.
